San Francisco was awesome! We had an amazing time. Here’s a run down of what we did:
Scoma’s at fisherman’s wharf
an Irish pub
a sushi bar
Breakfast at the Marriot (for JG’s award)
Mustard’s in wine country
Harris’ Steakhouse (we both had HUGE lobsters and filet mignon..mmmm!)
Trader Vic’s (home of the original Mai Tai, FYI)
The Daily Grill
Brunch at the Ritz Carlton (which was a whopping $140 bill–pre tip!!)
We ate and ate and ate!! It was awesome!! I am so glad we weren’t actually paying for the food because San Fran is one expensive place to eat!!
Bay cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz
JG’s friend’s apartment with AMAZING view of the bay
Union Square (we were staying there)
Wine Country including, Napa, Sonoma and Yountsville
The Golden Gate Bridge
California Grand Casino ( Did you know poker is legal in CA? Yup! They see it as a game of skill not chance. I played in a tourney and when we were down to 4 players we chopped the winnings! Yay!)
And we did all this in what amounted to 3 days!!!
I will try to post some pictures if I can ever figure out how to set up a photo album here. I don’t like the way I currently have to do it. Anyway, more later!
